Must be attending a two-or four-year program at an Alabama higher education institution in Fall 2026 (full or part-time)
The AWEA Member Education Scholarship is a one-time $4,000.00 award. It is open to any active member in good standing, which also includes Utility Partnership members. The applicant must be attending an Alabama institute for higher learning (two-year or four-year) in the fall of 2026 and can be a full time or part time student. To apply submit GPA, proof of registration, a reference letter, and a one-page essay on education/career goals.

Must be attending a two-or four-year program at an Alabama higher education institute in Fall 2026 (full or part-time)
Preference given to a member’s child and/or those pursuing environmental/engineering degrees
The AWEA Undergrad Education Scholarship is a one-time $4,000.00 award. The student can be studying any field of study, but preference will be given to those studying the environment and engineering fields. To apply submit GPA, proof of registration, a reference letter, and a one-page essay on education/career goals.
