21, 2010 at the Perdido Beach Resort in Orange Beach, Alabama. The
Technical Program Committee is seeking topics for presentation at the
Conference and invites you to be a presenter, a session moderator,
or to solicit associates, engineers, corporate leaders, public officials,
academia, consultants, or equipment and service representatives to
do the same so that we can enhance our industry by sharing technical
knowledge and experiences that support and continue growth.
The 2010
Technical Program will focus on the following categories:

Interested
Presenters are requested to complete the Presentation
Abstract form and return it by Monday,
November 2, 2009 to Rob McElroy(see details below).
If you
are unable to present at the conference but have a topic in mind that
you would like to see presented, we would appreciate your input by including
it on the attached form and returning the form to us so that potential
presenters can be contacted. We are requesting that
abstracts of the presentations be submitted to the addresses below by Monday,
November 2, 2009. Abstracts of presentations should
be 300 words or less and should be submitted in digital form. Presentations
should not exceed 40 minutes (25 to 30-minute presentation with
10 to 15 minutes of questions and answers). One speaker
per presentation will receive reduced conference registration. Contact
either Kerry Hannah or Rob Coleman (see below) for more details. Conference
registration information with the list of presentation topics will be
sent to AWEA members in January 2009. Various incentives for those attending
the technical sessions, including drawings for prizes, will also be added
to this year’s event.
We hope
to have more than 500 environmental professionals in attendance, along
with 70 exhibitors of equipment and services. Please circulate
this Call for Presentations within your organization. With your
help, we can have the best technical program available in Alabama for
all environmental professionals.
