The
presentation will provide an overview of the Alabama Board
of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors
Code of Ethics. The discussion will highlight recent problem
areas seen by the board including offering in multiple disciplines,
the sealing of documents, direct supervision, and failure
to respond. Do you know what you can legally seal? When during
the licensure process can you offer engineering/surveying
services? How can you advertise? These and other questions
will be addressed by Ms. Dinger, who has served as the Executive
Director of the PE and LS Board for the past 12 years.
