MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE

Promotes the retainment of existing members and encourages eligible non-members to become members of the Association.

PRIMARY ACTIVITIES

The Committee Chairperson as appointed by the President will recruit committee officers and members as appropriate to carry out the duties of this committee. Other activities include the following:

1. Submits written reports to the Board summarizing committee activities.
2. Supplies adequate membership application forms and necessary literature to provide the perspective members with full knowledge of the benefits and costs involved in membership.
3. Contacts members who have not paid their dues in an effort to obtain their renewal.
4. Promotes activities and ideas to obtain new members and retain existing members.
5. Maintains a booth at the Association's Annual Conference and other meetings where potential members may be present.
6. Develops and maintains a program of incentives and rewards for existing members who have brought in new members.

OFFICER/DIRECTOR LIAISON

The President will serve as the Officer/Director Liaison for this committee.
